Moray Coast, Day 1: Findhorn in the Evening
First stop was lunch, or dinner, or whatever you call the second meal of the day when it is also the last meal of the day and it happens around 4:00 in the afternoon. Whatever it's called, Dev decided to spend the meal learning how to sail, and I must say he's quite the natural. Look at that control of the sail! Look at that balanced poise!
Meal and sailing done, we walked out to the E'ee.
Here is a place for He Nauticals. We don't know where She Nauticals or Gender Ambiguous Nauticals are supposed to go, nor did the nice young man inside.
As for the local water taxi, I have to say it was a bit disappointing, a definite low point in an otherwise lovely town.
Here's the Ee'e. It has its own windsock, as any self-respecting Ee'e should.
The sea-facing side of the Ee'e is abundantly supplied with rocks, some of the skippable (as demonstrated by Orhan, with admirable timing to miss the wavelets).
It also has a very short road that ends decisively.
And some colorful beach houses.
(Later we stopped in at He Nauticals to use their non-gender-specific restroom, and Dev considered getting one of how own.
Fortunately for my stuffed pack, he decided there was little use for one in inland Davis.)
From the Ee'e we cut through the dunes...
Back to town...
And to bed.
